The Office for Institutional Equity (OIE) at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) is seeking a highly qualified, motivated and skilled individual to fill our Senior Equity Compliance Investigator role to 1) help manage the day-to-day and strategic responsibilities associated with the University’s sexual misconduct, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies and compliance obligations, and 2) assist in the handling of equal opportunity issues involving members of the University community, including: assessing and investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct and retaliation; providing guidance/mentorship to OIE staff; presenting educational programs related to University policy on relevant equal opportunity matters; and collaborating on the development of University policy and procedure.
Individuals in this role will have significant contact with senior leaders in the Office of General Counsel, Human Resources and Student Affairs and will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills. They should also be comfortable making recommendations following policy violations on necessary action steps to induce positive change to the culture of the organization.
